As a Canucks fan, I think Garland is too important to throw like that, and Murphy hasn't been very good this year. I'd keep Myers, his deal expires and we need the capspace, and replacing Garland isn't gonna be easy. I'm not sure if Chicago accepts either

Absolutely not. Hawks are rebuilding, no way they make that trade.

I like the framework of the trade, but I think the Canucks would have to throw more assets. Garland is nice but not enough to dump 6 mil in Myers, Zaitsev took a 2nd and 4th last year. Factor in they're trading for Murphy too and I don't think a 1st round pick at least is unreasonable to ask for.
