Whats the point of Sharks getting Olofsson ? Sure, they will most likely trade away Duclair, but only 4th is their long term plans. So most likely it will be 3rd 24, 5th 25 offer from Sabres.

Issue with Hanifin is, he wants 7+ mil AVV on next deal, which with Cliffton retention would make him 9 mil cap hit player. Too much, spend the money on two-way estalblished forward

Really don't think Hanifin is a fit for what we need. Good Hockey player, but think we need a Top 4 RD that doesn't mind the gritty stuff.

Plus, Hanifin isn’t the type defenseman we should be looking to bring in.
Need a RH guy who’s a “defense first” type guy.

Pretty sure he was LH, but a righty version of him would be great
Hell, a right handed version of Lydman or McKee would fit great as well !
