Even if they somehow got CBJ to accept this deal Connor and Drai are still leaving as soon as they become UFAs.

there is nothing in the edmonton system short of an extended draisaitl that gets columbus to consider moving both of those guys. there's not a combination of pieces that would even get one of them imo.
