Leafs pass. Robertson is finally getting his opportunity (even if it's limited minutes) and he is doing very well. Would rather have Robertson than Ellers. I do like saving the cap on the goalie swap, but I really like Sammy also, so I would turn that down 1 for 1 also.

Highly doubt Arizona moves Guenther.

Gunetzel’s not worth that much and Zona would do smaller trades this year and spend on bigger players in FA I would think.

This is fair, where zona is in the process makes no sense to trade high value prospects.



This is insane, Jake as rental is worth a 1st/Blue chip prospect + additional players/picks all day. If he were to agree to a sign and trade that goes way up.

AZ is not trading away guenther. Hayton is 23yo RFA and 3 good picks is too much as good even as gunetzal is. Cant see PITT, after getting EK, giving up on this year. if AZ really wants him can wait till UFA and overpay him and keep the 5 pieces.

Going to go out on a limb and say Jake declines the AZ trade. He has a 12 teamer and I'd probably bet AZ is one of the 12.

IF (big if) they would go rebuild this season I would bet they move Smith elsewhere and retain, they could get a much better return with that. Same thing with Pettersson.

Guentzel, Smith and Pettersson become their main trade pieces if they send it at the deadline. Throw in guys like Ned given his form and maybe depth guys like nieto/z/vinnie etc (they're all just low end picks)
