Jackets just named him as an alternate captain (deserving or not) and aren't trading for another winger that can fill the press box after already putting 3 on waivers this year.

Jackets don’t. No interest in reeves. Gudbranson has played much better this year and provides leadership and protection for the young guys.

This is exactly why Columbus won't move him though. His leadership is valuable, his trade value is...not. No sense in moving him at the moment for anything realistic.
