I fully understand he is still young and he is still has a chance to grow into what we need, but what if we used Lukas as a trade chip for a proven player to help us now.

He's having a bad start to the season but I'm willing to let him figure it out. He has all the skills to be a really good NHL player. I think hes also suffering from the AA and Hall injuries plus not playing with Kurashev or Connor

The question I have is: a proven player to help us do what?
Reichel is struggling mightily but it is only been a third of a season. That’s too early to quit on him. Hawks are where everyone expected them to be on the way to a very early first round pick. I doubt Laine who be able to be a difference maker on the Hawks as currently constructed.

This team has plenty of time to let reichel figure it out. Laine isn't doing too hot either. Only thing he's really proven to be is inconsistent.

I would imagine Reichel is no more available than Kent Johnson was when the Jackets sent him to the AHL earlier this year.
