Trades 1 and 3 decline.
Guentzel doesn’t want to leave Pittsburgh and he didn’t ask for a trade, and Pittsburgh doesn’t want too many wingers in their roster.
Giving away couple of prospect players for Ramus Andersson is awful and terrible idea.
I like the second trade.

I think that's a bad take on the Andersson trade. He would immediately become our 3rd, maybe even 2nd, best defenseman and is signed for two more seasons after this one on what's a very good contract. I think Lekkerimaki is too much since Raty is already offered, I'd probably go with Klimovich or McDonough and then maybe a 5th/6th to sweeten the pot.

1st + Raty + Klimovich is a comparable offer to what similar defenders have gone for in recent years;

Hronek + 4th for a 1st + 2nd (Hronek 4.4M for 2 years, expires RFA)

Provorov for a 1st + 2nd (Provorov 4.725M [30% retained] for 3 years, expires UFA)

McCabe for a 1st + 2nd (McCabe 2M [50% retained] for 3 years, expires UFA]

Just don’t see (certainly hope not) the Leafs interested in Myers, but offer seems fair

A team would almost get Myers for zero cash dollars, as most of his contract has been paid out. If the Canucks retained 50% on his AAV, they could trade Myers with a 30 second phone call as soon as the roster freeze lifted.

But as they long as they are contending, I don't believe they have any interest in moving him, anyways.

Word is the stumbling block on a Guentzel extension is term, and it's looking most likely that he'll go to free agency. It may to see the Pens letting him go, given his relationship with Crosby, but he's going to be 30, and there will be teams out there offering him 5 or 6 years at 8 million per. You can't expect him to turn that down, and it just doesn't make sense for the Pens to extend him past Crosby's deal.

Getting Kuzmenko for Guentzel makes a lot of sense for the Pens, the term and the dollars work, and Kuz did get 39 goals and 74 points last year; he has the skill to play to in the Pens top 6.

But I can't see the Canucks giving up Kuzmenko and that much in futures for a player they can target in free agency in a few months. Even if you drop the 2nd round pick from the deal, you're probably overpaying.

Kuzmenko is a healthy scratch, Podkolzin is a borderline NHL'er and a 2nd is an overpayment a PPG winger who averages over 35 goals a season? Pens decline this deal easily. If they do move him it starts with a 1st, bare minimum.

You can have Elias Lindholm for that offer, but definitely not Rasmus Andersson, we’ll retain 25-33% if you throw Pius Suter in as a replacement player as well
