Not at that price he isn't. Sabres have plenty of futures they can move though. Especially for a potential locker room issue that's ufa after next season

Interesting, he's a Fabulous player. But with FA coming in 1 year and he's probably gonna get a monster contract. This is a tough one, I would need to know he's willing to stay. Not giving up Cozens and JJ for him to walk after next year. Buffalo declines.

If one time you should let some young player for a guy who won à stanley cup. If you have paid 9.25 M for Skinner you can pay Rantanen 12M . Locker room issue??????.

They could pay him 12 mill, doesn't mean he won't walk. I said they have plenty of futures to offer. Cozens is signed long term and Peterka is untouchable right now. Trading their 2nd line for one guy sets them back

Skinners contract was so mind numbingly stupid, I'm not even sure who to blame.- our incompetent gm or our meddling owner. He basically said he only wanted to play for toronto or buffalo, and toronto didn't have room. So the Sabres paid an offense only winger 9 mill per long term. They weren't even negotiating against another team.

Did you happen to look at last years top scorers when you made that statement, five of the top 6 were all the incompetent GM!
This year the top top three were aquired by him plus 4 of the 7 defensemen Dahlin, Samuelson, Jokiharju and Johnson.
Last year and this year, the top three centers were his players.
