Dostal isn’t going anywhere. He’s playing like a 1B right now. No need to move him. Plus TOR doesn’t have anyone of interest really. Ducks need scoring and TOR doesn’t have anyone their willing to move that fits that mold.

Henrique at 50% will cost late 1st, or 2nd and 3rd
Lyubushkin would be late pick
Dostal/Samsonov swap would require something meaningful. Maybe Knies would suffice?

Lmao. Knies isn’t available unless it’s an overpay, moving Samsonov with Knies for Dostal is not an overpay.

Treliving hasn’t asked Anaheim about their goaltending - he’s called elsewhere for that. They’ve mainly been in talks about Lyubushkin and the odd time they’ve discussed a top 9 forward (I’m not sure who but Henrique would fit pretty well). My guess is that for Henrique and Lyubushkin both at 50% retained it would cost Toronto a 2024 1st, 2025 3rd, and Nic Robertson. But Treliving is hesitant to move the 1st round pick so it’s dependant on that

Maybe Toronto add Cowan and a second to make this fair?

We won't be taking Samsonov off your hands.

Dostal isn't available because he's our replacement for John Gibson.

Henrique with 50% retention is a second-round draft pick (which you don't have) plus a prospect not named Minten or Cowan. Knies and Woll are unavailable from your side in any deal for the first two names. Since you don't have a second-round draft pick for two years, maybe your 2024 first for the San Jose third could be an acceptable alternative; maybe the Boston second if this deal is made late enough to ensure that the Boston pick is later than 48.

Lyubushkin with 50% retention would be a 2025 third plus another minor element.

Anaheim isn't willing to trade their future number-one goalie, and they have no interest in Ilya Samsonov.
The Leafs can't afford Henrique, but they can only afford Lyubushkin.

Leafs are probably talking to every non playoff team, especially in the West…not just the Ducks. Can’t see interest in Lyubushkin - Leafs let him walk; realize there is a new GM that values physicality but enough members of coaching & mgmt staff left over to inform Tre of Bush’s significant limitations. Henrique maybe, but priority is D and ducks don’t have anything obtainable and interesting imo

Dostal : not available unless you want to spend 3x what he ‘would’ cost

Henrique : 2nd and a decent prospect

Lyubushkin : 2024 3rd

This is very reasonable. I assume those prices are with 50% retention but I agree with them.

For both Rico and Bush, yes
