As a ranger fan, I feel like Dubas would target Othmann or Perreault instead of cuylle

I agree lol 100% I just wondered if NYR would be willing to move their most recent 1st round picks but if they're available I'd obviously prefer them to Cuylle... what are your thoughts on the value of the trade? and would NYR have interest in guentzel?

Would the Rags include Schneider? Like Schneider Cuylle and 2nd for Jake retained?

I think Cuylle could be exposed, but not othmann or Perreault. Cuylle has looked decent but dragged down playing with Bonino and/or Wheeler. Othmann will be NHL ready next year, NYR want him to get a full year in the AHL. Only problem is they’re both LW’s unless one of them moves to RW like Laffy did

As awesome as it would be to have Guentzel on the rangers, I don’t want them to give up a ton of assets for a rental. I’m sure Drury will check in on him

Definitely not, because then they have a RD hole and no one to fill in. Trouba missed 40 minutes of the Caps game on Wednesday and Schneider stepped up big time

If we trade Guentzel I see is going after a 1st, prospect, and young roster player to "replace" Jake.

No chance the Pens are trading Jake to the Rangers. Also, the Rangers 1st round pick is most likely the least valuable 1st round pick in the league right now.

I mean if the Pens decide to sell, Guentzel will definitely be the best target at the TDL over everyone. He’s most definitely worth a 1st, I just wouldn’t give up good prospects for him (Laba isn’t that good)

You can’t be serious with that Oilers trade? We’re retaining 3M and getting a bunch of crap in return and we still have to pay a huge haul to do it?

Like in what universe does this make sense for the Oilers?
