Absolutely not.
Its not hard to find "leadership" in free agency for cheap if that's your only consideration and they don't even need that kind of leadership. Montreal has also been managing their cap with a view on the 2025 offseason, so this just hurts them. And as bad as Armia's contract is and has been and as flawed a player he is, based on this season I'd rather have him on the ice than Goodrow.
Montreal may be willing to make a swap, but If you think adding a Bedard or a 2nd (or even a late 1st) makes it worthwhile for Montreal then you're wrong.
