Fair deal. I think Vancouver should accept.

Vancouver's center depth becomes a lot weaker as well.

Canucks should accept a future right side with Schneider, Willander, and Brzustewicz would look promising. Though this would probably have to be done after the season.

I thought Raty isn’t even playing in the NHL?

He isn't but the number 1 center prospect. Canucks don't really have much behind him

Well rangers don’t want or need Raty/Garland so this trade is a wash

I’d think about it. It’s not terrible. The freedom of getting out from Goodrows contract is very appealing and we could just trade for another D man

Drury doesn't even consider doing that.

I agree. But that usually means it’s a good idea…

For what reason would Montreal want Nick Bonino? And why would they trade a young steady right handed dman under contract for another season to get him?

A roster spot for one. You guys have too many Dmen to begin with even before Hutson inks his ELC. But in terms of value, Bonino can probably be flipped for about a 4th at the deadline (C's with cups and super high FO% get good returns in Feb) , which is about the top end of what you could expect from Kovacevic tbh. If you want, we can throw in a guy Gorton drafted, I'm sure that'll be more than enough to sway him and the scouting dept.
