For that price we might as well just keep Duclair.

Granlund isn't an improvement on Namestnikov and didn't fill a need for the jets.

    That's because it's not a trade.

If the Devils reach the 2024 ECF, they owe the Sharks a 1st round pick because of the Timo Meier deal.

It's not that hard to figure out.

    1. Granlund is a bonafide #2 centre with term.

    2. Granlund is 50% on faceoffs playing for the Sharks while Namestnikov is 37% on faceoffs playing for the Jets.

    3. Granlund has 25 points in 31 games playing for the Sharks while Namestnikov has 20 points in 33 games playing for the jets.

    4. The Jets dump Schmidt and gain 950K in cap space for the next two seasons.

    5. The only thing of value the Jets give up is a late 1st.

    6. You trash every trade in AGM that involves the Jets, regardless of how good it is for the Jets.

    7. Your feedback is worthless.

Lol. You made a bad proposal for a player the Jets don't need. Grow up.

I like some ACGM's, just not bad ones like this.

Namestnikov is better than Granlund 5 on 5 by quite a bit, so if Granlund is a 2C, so is Namestnikov. 5 extra points with 5 minutes a game extra for Granlund is pretty awful production.

950k of unneeded cap space is one of the dumber reasons I've heard to give up a 1st.

Your "reasoning" if we can call it that, is "give up a 1st for this player that is worse than what you currently have at 2C in every way except face offs "because it saves you cap space that you don't really need."

Show me 3 ACGMs involving trades to the Jets that you've openly endorsed in the comments.

Or your feedback will remain worthless.

I expected you wouldn't be able to mount a rational defense of your bad proposal and I was correct.

Do some research on teams you're making proposals on in the future so you don't look so ignorant on what those teams need or don't need.

Yeah, decent proposal, but I agree with Windy here. I don't think the difference between Vladdy and Granlund is worth a 1st. And WPG doesn't need to shed Schmidt - I might prefer him in the playoffs over the other rookie guys. They can deal him in the offseason if they really need the cap space.

Sorry, but Granlund isn’t the C the Jets need… definitely not at that price.
Dumping Schmidt is a huge plus, but not with a 1st and not for Granlund

Who are some centremen that would be worth trading for by the Jets ?
