Habs trading Allen to NJ seems realistic to me.

Just give us a 2nd for Sturm.

Monahan is not getting a 1st and certainly not from the Caps. They have plenty of bottom 6 guys.

Monahan is a nice vet, a true leader and a guy that really can help for a playoffs push, if he's made available the starting cost will be a 1st rounder.

No way Washington trades what is likely to he a mid-1st for a rental, they’ve begun the process of loading up on youth and picks. Besides, who would Monahan replace in the Capitals’ center corps?

I wouldn’t give up on Ylonen so easy, don’t think he’s had a fair shot. Good set of tools just has to put it together.

I’d do that I think if vanacek doesn’t get it together soon and Daws falters. Not right now while he’s playing NHL hockey at a solid level

Why would Washington do that though? They’re obviously not contenders and Monahan wouldn’t put them over the edge by any means.

    Delusional much?
Starting point might be a first but selling point MIGHT be a third.

That might be the only time in recent memory a player has exceeded their "ACGM asking price", no?
