Description
Fans of these various teams, what would you accept in exchange for these forwards?

Canucks fans, who would you like most from this list?

Obviously Guentzel is the flavour of the month and looks really appealing, more realistically, I think Duclair could be a great fit on Millers LW

Note for SJ* it would be one or the other, not both

as a caps fan, i don't see us trading Wilson. We just locked him up for the next seven years, He's most likely gonna be our next captain after ovi.

Ahh yeah forgot about the extension, it says he has one year left on his contract which is true I guess lol

Duclair - hopeful for late 2nd, assume they’ll only get a late 3rd

Granlund - Should keep until next year unless offered an overpayment, which would be two 2nds, or 2nd and decent prospect

Tarasenko with 50% retention would likely cost Vancouver's 1st rounder.

Monahan should be near the top of our list to acquire. I still think he's super underrated and cant believe Calgary paid to get to rid of him

Guentzel with 50% retention (which the pens would do if they're selling).

2024 First and Lekkerimaki IMO.

If the canucks are going that all in on Guentzel it would mean that most likely that 1st is going to end up being near the bottom.

If not then 2024 1st + Hoglander + Raty.

Guentzel will probably be the best option at TDL this year (if the penguins sell) and probably one of the best in the last couple seasons. With pens willing to retain 50% which would make Jake's cap hit only $3M, there will be a lot of interest, so you'll have to pay.

Do you think this trade would work?

Duke is hard to pin down what his return would be. I think everyone knows he has a high end skill set but the Sharks blackhole offense is hurting his value a ton. Right now a mid 3rd/late 2nd at best. if he goes on a heater toward the deadline I could see an early 2nd/Conditional 1st.

Granlund is interesting. No retention I think easily a 2nd + a little something. With retention I think the cost goes up a ton considering you'd have him for a decent cap hit when you have more flexibility next year. 1st +

Ottawa likely accepts, good move for Vancouver as he is a short-term rental not on a long-term deal (pending UFA at end of season).

He has a NTC, so he would need to waive for any team interested.

Honestly, I'd go for a RD more than a top-6 winger. Scoring isn't really an issue this year and having someone to bump Myers out would be a huge win for the team.

Vatrano is more than likely going to be extended in Anaheim and is not available.

Vatrano is a Duck and staying that way. He's producing like a 6M player on a 3.6M salary, has really nice chemistry with McTavish and embodies most of the qualities that Verbeek and Cronin preach about work ethic, compete and the like.

There just isn't a world where Vancouver is willing to give up enough to pry Frankie away.
