I don't think VAN should give up Hoglander; especially not for Henrique at that AAV to play on the 4th line.

No one is paying to get Myers and TOR definitely won't give us Steeves for him. I also doubt they use their low cap space to get $4mil Myers when someone like Tanev is potentially available. Even if Tanev wasn't there, Myers is not what they'd need or want.

I'd do the PIT trade, but I don't know if that gets you retained Guentzel even in PIT is out of a playoff spot. They do need prospects though so a PIT fan would know more.

STL would decline. Buchnevich > Kuzmenko for them I'd think, but I'd be willing to add if it meant we got him. Cancel the ANA trade and send Hoglander for Buchnevich as well?

PHI declines, but if they didn't I'd do that in a heart beat. Scratch Juulsen and play Seeler though.

Penguins pass on that. Can easily get a lot better offers for a top 10 LW at 3 million cap hit

Except for the Anaheim and Toronto trades, these are all wildly unbalanced and favour Vancouver far too much.

Guentzel will need more than Podkolzin + 1st to acquire, especially at 50% retained.

Blues will look for futures for Buchnevich, they won't want to swap. Even if they did, Van likely has to add.

Seeler is an NHL defenseman and Woo hasn't played an NHL game at 23. I see no reason why Philly does this move.

4 mil for a pylon isn’t my idea of a good purchase or else someone else would pay for it

Where’s the first round pick that’s supposed to go to Toronto?

16pts and +13 would put Myers second on the Leafs D in points, tied for 1st in +/-, and tied for 8th in points. Just stating the facts.

The Canucks don't want to trade Myers, he's playing good hockey.

The Leafs already bought a 4M pylon in the form of Klingberg. I can see why you wouldn't want Myers though, no point in spending assets when you're only going to win games in the first round anyway.

so you dont understand why a team with a bad player wouldnt want another bad player? Is that really a big leap in thought? How about they dont add the other bad player so they dont have two bad players?
Tyler Myers sucks really bad and you'd know that if you watched the games.

The Leafs already have a bad player in Klingberg. Myers is a good player, the Canucks will keep him, you'd know this if you watched any Canuck games beyond the two against the Leafs.

The Leafs can keep their picks and prospects, maybe they can use them to get the Marlies past the second round.

no myers is a bad player, a very bad player who has been bad for years. The canucks can keep him forever and i hope they do because he sucks. You'd know this if you watched a single canucks game in your life

the canucks should trade for klingberg because they already have a bad player in myers, it's sound logic ive heard

Hahaha, no one agrees with your takes. Looking at the Armchair threads, you have a dozen ongoing disagreements on this website with any person that tries to make an offer with the Leafs and isn't blatantly overwhelmingly one-sided for Toronto. Everyone tells you how extremely biased you are and you let that bias blind you to reality, but you ignore everyone's advice. Touch some grass, then come back when you've gained some perspective. But you'll ignore that advice, too.

Nope, its solid logic, someone in this thread told me that if you have a bad defense man you need to trade for another.
And im agreeing with him so clearly people do agree with my takes.
