Idk about a Markstrom trade
If he’s the best we can get, then i guess that’s fine. But he’s just an average goalie at this point- so i certainly wouldn’t give up any good assets at all for him
Your proposal would be ok i guess, but they would r be getting anything better than that- no matter what their delusional fanboy thinks

The trade for Murphy is a terrible overpay
Take out the 1st
He hasn’t been playing great, & even a 2nd for him is pushing it a bit

most likely yes they do.....but any chance he is a legit 2C with some proper coaching? his FO percentage is not great (47% I believe), and Rod won't love that. If could put him with a legit shooter you might have something. He certainly was a bit of a late bloomer.

I don’t think we can qualify Mittlestadt as a goal scoring center. Ge has 10 this year with a very high shooting percentage. Last season’s 15 was his best. Also he isn’t great defensively and the team is wildly out producing expected with him on the ice so far. That wont last either.

His dip in stats was at the same time Ralph Krueger was the coach. It's not a coincidence. He's already a legit 2C

I would say no to the Chicago and Carolina trades, we get killed in both. If you can use mittelstadt to upgrade jokiharju, then I'm fine with the calgary trade.
