Players selected in the late 20s typically don't become top of the lineup guys.

They fairly reliably become decent/good bottom 6 guys, but you've got a better chance getting a top line talent with the plethora of picks going to Vegas, than you do with Vegas first.

I have to admit I have never saw a trade like this, but if there was ever a team desperate for a 1st rounder and the player they can get. I would love to see a trade like that.
