I never saw Copp as a top 6 guy. Detroit loves to have players from Michigan. Which is fine. But it shouldn't be the main reason you sign a player.

Pretending (hoping) Copp could be a 2C was a mistake in my opinion. His play doesn't justify his contract.

This is all over the place. Raymond and Seider won't sign those, Ed won't be playing top line minutes, AJo won't play above Walman, and why pay Mountour 8M to play on the 2nd line? Nate Dan won't be 2C next year, Veleno is a center, not Ras, and Berggren will not make anywhere that much. Also, as far as I'm aware, you can't have 4 buyouts in one offseason.
