Come on .

Kubalik could be worth a 4th with 50% retention.
Gotta think Tarasenko gets a little more.
Chabot for Weegar I don’t mind

Norris trade is hard underselling him

Canes don't have the cap room, you'd have to retain on his deal, or lower the return so the Canes can move money out

Is there any roster forward you’d be willing to move with a 2nd?

Fast or Martinook. Noesen's money isn't enough to make a difference, and every other one of the wingers is outproducing Tarasenko right now, except Teravainen, whose making up for that by being on pace for around 30 goals.

I’d take either . Anyone in Carolina’s bottom 6 would be a massive improvement for ottawa

Yeah, I'm not expecting much from either Kubalik or Tarasenko.

I am a real fan of the player so I'd only really go for a good hockey trade for Chabot.

Norris's cap hit and shoulder issues put together are a huge liability. He is not the player he was in 2021-22. Maybe there's a better deal for him to be had though.

I’d do something like Tippett + Atkinson/Laughton for Norris. Helps both teams

The only issue Vlad solves for the Canes is using available cap space

What's up with Norris? Underperforming or injuries?

I think he will be fine. Just hasn’t gotten comfortable and still avoiding going all out and contact. And the whole team is playing bad.

His defensive skills will come back

Just move Freddie to LTIR and that move works without trading Fast or Martinook

He hasn't even started skating... and he's still seeking a second opinion

It's also January. If the team medically cleared him, he'll return by the end of the season

He's gonna need a month of skating before he gets on the ice at a minimum and he's nowhere near being there... there is a greater than not chance that he's probably done

Good thing there's four months left in the year. He'll be back before the end of the year.

There’s no way your a Sens fan with that WPG trade
Jets accept and clutch Norris harder than Gollum clutches his Precious
