That Avs trade would be like sending Macdermid and RyJo for Levi or a top prospect. At least be in the ball park.

Where do I begin? First, you can no longer make contingencies based on whether or not a player will sign with the team that trades for him. Second, I agree Calgary isn’t trading Andersson so you can forget about that deal. Third, forget about Guentzel completely, especially if that’s the price. But I would do the trade for Dowd if Washington would.

A 40 goal point per game winger costs a first and a good prospect. If you want Guentzel it will cost you.

At least MacDermid makes league minimum. In this trade, the Avs take on $4M in cap for EJ (a guy that would be battling for a 6/7D spot) and Olofsson (a winger who would be fighting for a winger role in the middle 6).

Like a 1rst and Kulich and have to pay him. I’ll keep Kulich and the 1rst which will be a top 10 pick.

You should, Buffalo has no need for a player like Jake. If he becomes available only a top contender should fork over the costs, because it will be a big cost.
