Description
Not sure if the trades would satisfy both parties, but I would make these moves if possible. Pens need to move on from Ty Smith & Zadina didnt breakout like he wouldve hoped in San Jose. Chances are Zadina will sign for less than 1mil next season giving us a cheaper YOUNG bottom 6 option.

Smith & Chychrun have to move their non move clauses to make this happen, Ottawa gets two NHL caliber players back along with a 3rd. Im not sure Chychrun will go this cheap though, but his value is definitely less than last year.

Lyubushkin has been linked to Pitt recently, if Graves waives his NMTC for Anaheim this could be a win for both parties. Pitt moves on from the Graves contract while solidifying the 3rd RD & Anaheim gets a big veteran LD locked into a long term deal & could possibly use him as trade bait in a few years if his game improves.

Shea in for Ludvig until Ludvig gets reactivated.

Bring Kessel in for cheap & replaces R. Smith. Same type of player.

Dont think value is there for Chych.
Hard to see us moving Graves.

I cant see why Chychrun would be any less valuable than last year. He has had a good season all things considered. Could maybe argue he wouldn't return as high of a pick as the sens ended up trading for him, but would still take a 1st round pick a couple other parts imo

As someone else mentioned, probably not enough for Chychrun.
I don't see a reason for ANA to make that trade. Pens would have to pay them to unload Graves with his contract and performance.
3rd trade looks fine to me.

I tried to find something that wasn't completely ridiculous in this ACGM post to debate but I got nothing... complete gong show... lol none of this stuff makes sense... lol these trades probably wouldn't even go through in NHL24

I don't think Graves is a bad player or on an unreasonable deal, but he's got no home in Anaheim, we are flooded with young LHD, there's no greater spot for Graves.
