Right now PLD is having a horrendous season, That is vast overpay. And if Rob Blake were to move him and that's a big if. he'd go to the highest bidder and i doubt that's Montreal.

The Kings aren't trading PLD for at least 2 years. Sure he's bad now, but Blake isn't going to throw in the towel on the single-biggest move of his tenure after half a season.

I would do this in a heartbeat. But I'm very biased against PLD. I truly dislike having to watch him play hockey in LA.

King wont have the luxury of trading him for the next 4 season. Pld has a full NMC. Unless they pull a PK Subban they will have to stick with him.
