I realise it says anywhere but can't see a Barrie return to Colorado though stranger things have happened.

If Nashville is rebuilding. Why would they trade their first round pick?

I don't like trading Norris, but Ottawa probably has to at least consider this. Though unless Greig or Pinto (when he's finally back) show they're ready to be full time 2nd line Cs idk if it makes sense

Sellers, not rebuilding. It makes sense for Nashville to trade their 1st for a top 6 C on a decent contract (assuming he lives up to the contract).

I’d probably do that Norris trade, value seems fair but sens would have to be mighty confident in Greig or Pinto being the 2C.

Rangers don't really need Lauzon. I could see them going for a 7D but I feel like Lauzon makes too much to fill that role for them, they're gonna be up against the cap at the deadline so he really doesn't fit.

Short-term
Norris is a big upgrade to the center situation in nashville

Long-term
Norris doesnt do near enough to fix the center situation in nashville. Him and RoR are mid 60ish point centers. RoR at the tail of his career and 1 year removed from being a shell of himself. I personally wouldnt move the 2024 1st or L'Heureux (he seems really solid so far) but do agree we gotta find something to upgrade glass long term.... though i think that is done by admitting defeat and getting a top 5 pick this year.

You honestly believe that roster that is fairly old for a core is a 2C away from a Stanley Cup. You honestly think that?

Did I say that? Have you seen their prospect pool?

Trading a first round pick for a bonafied top 6C whos
1. 24
and 2. signed with term

is something Nashville should consider. It's a much better bet than drafting a player in the mid first round then waiting 2-3 years in hopes he pans out.

No, but he fits the retool plan Trotz is going for much better than another 18 year old we'll have to wait years for. Nashville isn't bad enough where we'll bottom out and somehow secure a top 5 pick. Another player in the 15-20 range is worthless, we have enough of those. We need players now.

Getting a 2C with some terms just for it to fall apart because not everyone is on the same window. Well Good luck
