I don’t think edmonton wants merzlikins he is a campbell 2.0 making 400k more. He is and average backup with a 906 this season and in his career. But value wise I think it’s the most realistic trade that I’ve seen.

with salary and term, the swap makes sense, but the difference between Elvis and Campbell is that Elvis is playable where Campbell isnt. SO the question is if a 4th round pick is enough to make up for the fact that Campbell is useless. Not sure why we would want Desharnais, so im ignoring that part of it. I think it takes more than a 4th to attach to Campbell to make the swap, but seems pretty close.
