I doubt CGY sells Mangiapane for so little, and CHI isn't buying anyway, especially not guys entering their age 28 season. But there are almost certainly some teams who would jump at him for a late 2nd.

The Winnipeg trade is laughable from a Jets perspective, Arizona doesn't need a tender and Dube has very little value at this point, Chicago isn't buying Mangiapane but someone might give a 2nd for him.

I don't understand these rumors that NJ is looking for a dman, the Devils have a solid D core imo, top 10 in the league and Nemec in the pipeline. I get Hamilton is injured BUT trading good assets for say Hanifin and extending him doesn't make sense to me, would be interested to get Devils fans opinions.

But one of Hanifin's tier? Like I get adding some reinforcements/depth but the east is tight this year, adding a pricey dman for the Devils doesn't seem wise to me.

I would assume Nemec is eased in on the 3rd pair with a defensive minded, veteran lefty and they get 15 minutes a game.

Yeah I think NJ needs a goalie upgrade much more then adding a Hanifin tier dman but that's just an outsiders perspective, if I watched them every game perhaps I'd see it differently.
