MTL
  1. Chmelevski, Alexander [Reserve List]
SJS
  1. Harris, Jordan
  2. 2024 4th round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
There's a lot of interest in Chmelevski among the league. No idea on what his rights would cost, or if he wants to return to San Jose. I value Harris as a late 2nd, early 3rd round pick. SJS has a lot of defensemen as well so maybe they'd prefer a pick instead.

Additional Details:
Traded during the summer or at the 2023-24 TDL

Prior to signing with NSH, MTL came very close to landing Duchene. The latter was reportedly down to these two teams. Visited the city and met with Bergevin & Molson.

He's my personal favorite option because he'll command less term than Reinhart, Lindholm, etc.

    Other worthwile options: S. Reinhart, E. Lindholm, J. Guentzel, J. Marchessault, T. Toffoli, D. Sprong, S. Monahan

Yeah, I figured that could be an issue. I hope he wins it in Dallas this season Sticking Out Tongue

I'd love to see Sharks give him a chance when the dead weight is gone next season.

In terms of value, that's definitely good enough to get it done but they'd be looking for RHD not lefties.

I wish they'd just resign Monahan. A late 1st in all likelihood wont be a factor or will not even be a part of their window.

Take the known commodity at 29 years of age.

I'm a fan of signing Toffoli BUT i think you are easily dismissing another UFA goal scorer with jam like Jason Zucker.

181pts in his last 190 games. Gotta give to get.

Where this team is at, I'd much rather overpay for three years than signing Reinhart or Lindholm to 7-year deals. Any player they sign in FA this year won't be in his physical prime when this team is ready to compete.

Ever since the Calgary trade fell flat, it's been speculated that Jason Zucker blocked the trade and doesn't want to play in Canada. Not a big fan of his whatsoever.

30 goal scorer and that can score in the hard areas is always a good get!

It's just that, by looking at the stats, it looks like he fell off from last year. Or maybe I'm to worried about MTL being stuck with another Hoffman.

for 3 years, he could get something close. Most contenders couldnt afford it, but a few could give something close.
