Why would Sens give up on a guy that they paid using 1st, and 2x seconds for a top 4 D, a goalie that was waived late last year, and a 1st that is not going to be until 20+?

If the Sens can't resign Chychrun they will move him in the offseason or next year (or use him as a free rental). They won't trade him to a Rival/divisional team or the cost would be so much more than this current offer. They may as well trade Chychrun for Hanafin.

Treliving tells you to get wrecked.

No point in adding another goalie, especially one that’s on LTIR. And it’s not worth getting Chychrun if it means giving up Liljegren. Yes Chychrun is better, but Toronto is much more thin at RD than they are LD. Can’t weaken a weakness to strengthen a strength. Doesn’t make sense.

I disagree. Especially with the emergency of Syracuse guys like Gonclaves and Koepke and Groshev.

I say the same thing with buffoons sending a LD on packages for Cernak constantly, however they also don't usually offer a better defenseman to top it off.
