If Ottawa had any need for a LD at all there might be some logic to this

If they move Chabot i agree its a pretty big if bit not impossible if they go on a retool

If they move Chabot they’d still have Sanderson, Chychrun, Brannstrom and Kleven who are LD

I could see a world where Ottawa trades Norris, but this makes no sense at all for Ottawa. Byram is youngish, but he's at best Ottawa's 4th best LHD, and Johansen is not very good.

OTT doesn't really need LHD and the Avs can't afford Norris next year.

If landeskog plays next season avs will only have 3 million in cap space.

So this trade can't even happen.
