I am fine with standing pat. Spending assets for rentals that aren't going to really move the needle are not a good idea this season. Too many holes and long term holes.

I'd like to see Trev tinker. Doesn't mean big asset swaps but standing pat would be a mistake.

Here is what I think the Leafs will do by end of TDL:
- Sell Brodie (3rd team will retain)
- Acquire defensemen with term
- Sign Tsyplakov
- Take a chance on Bellows or Comtois
- See what the new team can do

I dont think Tsyplakov is eligible to sign until after the KHL season, so I doubt a decision comes from his end until the offseason

I don't follow the KHL tbh... Thought it'll be like the Knies signing where Knies couldn't sign by TDL... But we all knew he would

Cause if u dont try to fix at least fix the D they could look at that wrong. As really the bottom 6 can basically fix itself once any 2 of them get hot. Domi could, Jarnkrok could come back, Kampf randomly gets hot in a given week and gives us 3 goals in 3 games lul.

1-2 year deal 3m thats fine. Hes playing well at 33 rn on a CGY team who isnt great.

I think Brodie's value could get us an upgrade tbh... That's why I wasn't to sell
