A few notes from these 5 games:

- Bertuzzi-Domi-Nylander is the second line and I don't want to see any other variant

- Lilly and Bert deserve PP1 time... Gives Mo and JT a break

- JT can't lose his cool, the game swung into AZ's favour when that happened, McMann is perfect for that

- Lilly needs to be playing top 4 minutes, he's too good

Wouldnt be going off a small sample when Rielly is out of the lineup for super big decisions just yet.

Often this is what the Leafs do when a key member is gone

Now that hes back and competition is tougher this is where the real assessment begins

Honestly the more I look at options the more one players slipping under the radar as a target

RFA at the end of this season 2.4m is good at both ends but is mainly a defensive guy. And NSH for some reason has HS him 13 times

JT, I feel, has looked better in a reduced role. I just don't think he was able to keep up with Bill and I think having somewhat sheltered minutes has been beneficial.

Brodie looks a lot better. Not sure if it's from playing the left side or what...but he's close to being back to last year's type of output so hopefully that keeps up.

Lilly has been very impressive. Has had some shifts where he's playing like a man possessed and seems to be picking his spots better as far as when to pinch.

Woll is on a conditioning stint. If he can come back and share quality starts with Sammy we may finally get some consistent results down the stretch.

and I guess better late than never...but gotta give at least some kudos to Chief Keefe for mixing the lines a bit...hopefully they don't let their foot off the gas with Morgan returning.

I second this. Matthews is very likely to get 70 goals unless he gets injured or falls off a cliff and the team is just playing well all around. Probably a 6 game win streak (hopefully I don’t jinx it lol but I mean come on), 5 without their best d man, things are looking pretty good. Get a partner for Rielly and your golden.

True but when we look at everyone whose played with Rielly but Brodie Keefe shelters the mins anyways. There's a chart posted somewhere here or the other form showing how good Fabbro's been this season

I feel like he would be more of a project or "what if". I would rather we get a guy we know will be what we need beside Rielly. Hence Larsson or Tanev.
