Rangers are a better team without Kuzmenko.
No thanks.

That Goodrow contract is rough but I don’t hate that deal

Interesting... I kind of like it. Miki-Petey-Kakko could be a decent line. Though I'd prefer Kuz over Kakko. It might be good by itself and have two firsts before quickly sending assets back out. That said, the FO did a similar move going after Hronek shortly after the Horvat deal. Definitely intriguing.

Drury says no thanks. Keeping Kakko and no interest in trading away a 1st round pick.

The Rangers wouldn’t be saving any cap at the deadline with this deal, and Kuzmenko hasn’t come close to replicating his production from last season while being worse defensively than Kakko. It makes more sense for the Rangers to hold out for Kakko to start producing again, he’s been much more engaged offensively since returning from injury.

Could be a casual. There's no reason to pay to move goodrow. He will be need in a deep run and can be bought out for minimal costs if need be(most likely summer of 25') And kakko has been great defensively which is something we need. especially with shesty underperforming

OR….. rangers save Kakko and the 1st and buyout goodrow in the off-season. Easy pass
