Double check it’s the right EP. That Allvin can be sneaky after a few pops.

Petey is staying not going.
Chicago is not interested in Kuzmenko. They even have younger players that a better than him TBH.

No. It would create a bigger hole in Detroit than the one or filling.

Or HOPEFULLY will be better than him. haha. I feel like this year is a fluke, though. You don't just go from being a borderline superstar Russian transplant, to what he is now for no reason. Maybe he just doesn't fit Tocchet's systems or doesn't vibe with him and its getting in the way. I think there are GM's of playoff teams that might see him and be willing to spend a little on him.

But, yeah, it is very unlikely that team would be CHI. They aren't paying a 2nd for a guy that would be nothing more than a skilled stop gap and possible trade bait. CHI would be looking to make a profit, and chances are, if he plays well, a 2nd tops is what we would get at next years TDL for him. Which obviously isn't a profit. So, maybe a 3rd, or a 4th/5th plus a young player that is likely to be on the outs with CHI but could be playoff depth for VAN.

What if Chi extended him?

Hawks probably decline. Just can't see them being in the market to trade away picks for players at this point.

They wouldn't. He will be 28 next month, and CHI isn't looking to sign anyone with UFA status to long term deals, right now. He is already questionable as it is, before considering that he will be in his 30's by the time we are competitive again.

Even though i would love to add Elias Pettersson, I'm not willing to do it at the expense of Moritz Seider. Pretty sure both teams pass.
