Stevie took on a prblem and a bad contract and then bought it out for Oilers now they want the player back that Stevie did this for and for nothing. Sorry not going to happen, Kostin was brought in a for a reason.

the AZ trade is more than fair but AZ cant do it while in the playoff hunt, dumba hasnt been great but the optics of trading for futures (the 2nd, the 3 players are AHL bound) is bad look for clubhouse and fans.

laugh Sure Detroit retains $1,000,000 Kostin for Erne and a trash 5th round pick. Yzerman did Holland a favor by taking on Yamamoto and buying him out basically for Kostin. We're not trading him. Especially for that garbage.

Kostin is a 4th liner in Detroit and has greatly missed time already. Erne was just waived today. So what's his excuse. He can't even make it in Edmonton and Kostin is still a country mile better.

"I don't know the point of a player like Klim Kostin." If you think he was brought onto the team for point production, then I doubt you watched the Oilers last season lmao.
