Would imagine a $3.5M Fleury with a full NMC would be pretty affordable. Good vibes would be off the charts

I’d take this if I were ANA, but I feel like they could pry just a bit more value out of this with Henrique fully retained and RJ’s $8M coming back

I don’t think Anaheim has any desire to take on the full contract of RJ unless there is much more value coming back

Ryjo contract is only 4 million since Nashville retained when they traded him to the avs.

I'd dump ryjo and prosvetov in Arizona system if you gonna retain fleury for the cup run.

Then for the henrique rental I'd trade a 2nd at most and a prospect. A 1st is an overpayment for a rental. You might as well get lindholm if you go the rental route

Agree that Henrique retained is probably a 2nd at most. Bumped it to a first to dump RyJo as I don't know that he as much value even at $4M. He helps a team get to the cap floor next year and if he pops with more ice time in another system, they can flip him for more picks.

That’s still a season and a half for a player with under 20 points on an Avs roster. I can’t see Anaheim want another Silfverberg on their hands unless something is thrown in to convince them otherwise

Figured Henrique being a rental would cost around a 2nd with retention. And RyJo will probably cost us somewhere between a 3rd and a 5th to dump. Since Anaheim is one of the few places with capspace to absorb RyJo, thought it might make sense to combine the value and just bump the 2nd to a 1st. But may have to add another low value pick or prospect as the 1st will be late.

I’d do Henrique retained for RyJo a 1st and like a B to C level prospect

Avs are better off dumping ryjo off somewhere else then trade a 1st for a rental.

Arizona isn't a cap dump franchise anymore, they're battling for the last wild card spot in the west. Anaheim should be take this and run, and so should Colorado, considering how high the Lindholm market might get.
