Would love to acquire a player like Sundqvist for the bottom 6 in NY. Desperately need some physicality and grit. Sadly, I think Drury holds onto Kakko here as people still have hope he pans out (why? I couldn't tell you). NYR needs to unload him before his trade value tanks even further. His defensive metrics are the only appealing part of his game to date.

What did you forget to put in this trade thats worth a 1st, an A tier prospect with 30+ goal winger potential, and arguably the best defenseman in the NCAA who happens to be 19? Because Buch sure as hell ain't worth all that, especially in a down year

I think the Buch deal is asking for a lot from NJ, especially since they have bigger fish to fry than bringing someone like Buch in. I don't think anybody with goaltender issues goes for Buch.
