Well, the Ross Colton idea is interesting. Nothing else is. You took a team that's loaded with offensively talented forwards, that aren't great defensively and struggle to consistently go to the scary places, plus a team loaded with left shot d, that also are not great defensively and struggle going to the scary places- and you add stuff that doesn't really address their issues.

Take that 1st trade and offer that to Montreal for Barron. Doubt any of these teams would do these. Wait until FA and go get Trenin or Joshua or both. Sabres could use a Hammer or 2 that can still add to the team. Sabres need to find Complimentary pieces to go with what they have. They need a player with a Winning Pedigree, losing culture needs to go and that includes Girgensons and Okposo.

Yo do not want Barron. Clurman was proposed in a previous thread and honestly he would be a better fit for what the Sabres need. He is that big, shut down/a-hole to battle with rhd they could use and is cheap. He is a Colorado native so I don't think he is available. Came close to making the Avs out of camp.
