Bloody shame for Chytil if it's true. Hopefully it's less serious than first thoughts and something other than concussion related and being shut down for the year might be all it takes. Fingers crossed for the guy.

Tbf that's the same for any player, just maybe a higher risk, you could easily add Sid to that list and probably a slew of others.

That Ranger fan doesn't live in the same reality as the rest of us. But this is terrible news for Chytil. I just hope his long term health isn't in jeopardy.

Could not put weight on leg, helped off the ice. Like I've been saying, do Not pencil him in this year or next year unfortunately. Hope for playoff comeback miracle, sure, but not in ink.
Naysayers saying: We overvalue our kids. Reality: We value they're lower caps. That's why we say KAM Fil Laf BS Kakko are untouchable, lack of cap & depth.
Chytil was an up and coming 70pt 2c Bobby Smith/Holik/Francis Lite or Coyle/Jenner.
Add shoulders/hips/knees/hangnails to that list Sid/Norris/Senko/Kane/Couture/Chabot...

Sounds like that's not a concussion issue then (unless it's neurological in which case that's basically likely to be instant retirement anyway) so that may at least be something to be thankful for. Hopefully they shut him down for the year now and give him full chance to recover.
