Calgary Flames trades:
If it’s true that Detroit wants Hanifin, here’s my trade offer:
Noah Hanifin to Detroit for Olli Maata, Jared McIsaac and two conditional 2nd round picks (2024 and 2025)
Condition(S): if Detroit misses 2024 playoffs, they choose which 2nd round pick to keep.
-if Detroit makes 2024 playoffs, they lose 2024 2nd round pick but keep 2025 2nd round pick
-if Detroit wins 1st round of 2024 playoffs, they lose both 2nd round picks
-if Detroit advances to 2024 eastern conference finals, they lose 2024 2nd round pick and the 2025 2nd round pick will be converted to 2025 1st round pick

If Colorado wants Lindholm (and maybe an extra goalies), here’s my trade proposal:
Elias Lindholm (50% RS) and Dan Vladar to Colorado for Ryan Johansen, Jean-Luc Foudy, 1st round pick 2024 and 3rd round pick 2025

Would Boston be interested in a swap of Grzelcyk for Tanev?
Chris Tanev (25% RS) to Boston for Matt Grzelcyk and 3rd round pick 2025

If Kadri doesn’t want to stick with Flames during rebuild (Source: https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/calgary-flames/news/report-flames-kadri-not-interested-in-staying-if-a-rebuild-begins)
If PLD is losing favour with the Kings (Source: https://thehockeywriters.com/doughty-mclellan-comments-kings-internal-issues/)
This trade could happen (assuming Kadri waived his NMC). LA Kings takes on a less expensive contract for less term in Kadri compared to PLD.
Nazem Kadri (waives NMC) to LA Kings for Pierre-Luc Dubois and two conditional 2nd round picks (2025 and 2026)
Condition(S): if Kings miss 2024 playoffs, they choose which 2nd round picks to keep
-if Kings make 2024 playoffs, they lose 2025 2nd round pick but keep 2026 2nd round pick
-if Kings wins 1st round of 2024 playoffs, they lose both 2nd round picks
-if Kings advances to 2024 western conference finals, they lose 2026 2nd round pick and the 2025 2nd round pick will be converted to 2025 1st round pick
-if Kings advance to 2024 Stanley cup, both 2nd round picks will be converted to 1st round picks

I'd rather have 7 seasons of a 26-year-old than 5 seasons of a 34-year-old. For one thing, Kadri might have the same familiarization process in his first season as DuBois is having.

PLD will never waive for Calgary, and they shouldn't want him. Having Huberdeau and Dubois would give Flames fans strokes

Who has a worse contract between Kadri and Jack Campbell? I don’t think the two second rounders are remotely close to getting rid of that contract

Is it really a familiarization factor with PLD or is it Im a lazy POS who got paid factor?

I think CGY could get a better return for Hanifin, and that’s a fair Lindholm trade, though I’m not 100% convinced COL is hell bent on moving RyJo though it’s kinda forgone because of the cap ramifications unless Nichushkin isn’t back.
