We are already paying a lot more (without Gritsyuk) than most good rentals get. Adding Gritsyuk is overkill.

I'll pass on the unproven Russians. They usually come with baggage.

More than fair. But NJD will happily keep him and isn’t going to treat him like some throw in prospect just because you don’t like Russians

Any worthwhile trade is going to make you give up something you don't want to.

Some Russians might be worth the gamble. The majority aren't though and that hurts their value. The only thing that matters is how other teams perceive them

Then we won't send Arseni to Calgary if they don't perceive him as a highly valuable asset. You can have Graeme Clarke instead
