Highly doubt chicago would give up a 2nd. Maybe a 3rd and definitely a 4th, but they aren't going to give up a 2nd as Kuz would only be of valuable to Chicago to flip at the TDL next year and that's probably what he's worth as a rental.

To acquire Kaprisov, think what you would want for Pettersson and remove about a 2nd rounder in value and that's your value.
Dude is a monster playing with centers that wouldn't be playing 1st or 2nd line consistently on any team

I don't know about that but I'm not sure Petey wouldnt get much more than this trade. Thats why I referenced the Eichel trade, that was an A prospect, a solid young cost controlled middle six player and an 1st and a 2nd. Pretty similar to this, Instead of the second adding a B center prospect. Value will never be there in these trades because other teams wont trade you a cost-controlled young star for an established player. Not at least until the cap goes way up.

Buffalo got that return after Eichel was demanding a controversial surgery and developing a bad rep for going against the team (it was the right choice but I doubt GMs and Teams love how he did it)
Kaprisov IMO is better than Eichel and hasn't had these types of issues (as far as I'm aware)

Ok, Kaprizov has 19 goals and 26 assists (21 mins average), and makes $9M per. Hoglander has 14 goals and 6 assists (averages 11 mins) and makes $1M. But you want to add in two first rounders and our only decent center prospect for 5 extra goals and 20 extra assists for $8M extra per year.

Minny pass - Kaprizov is not available.
Chicago pass - They don’t want a player with a mediocre contract.
