Van isn't trading hunter, and say you hypothetically take him out, the hawks aern't giving a 2nd for Kuz

Chicago pass - Chicago isn't giving away their draft picks.
Ilya Mikheyev to CBJ isn't a good idea - CBJ might be asking for a first-round pick and a prospect.
VCR shouldn't trade Petey - Petey is untouchable and he will sign an extension with the Canucks.

Jack Roslovic already forced himself out of Winnipeg, he'd probably just as soon sit out the rest of the season, Then accept a trade to another Canadian team.

If VAN is willing to include Brzustewicz, I think CHI would have to strongly consider making the deal.

I'm with you (again), Garak... Brzustewicz would be a terrific get! If I'm Chicago, I'd do that trade (especially given that it seems now that VAN's 2nd will be near the bottom of the round). If Kuz becomes something in Chicago, and Brzustewicz blossoms into what he could be, that trade would be a HUGE win for the Hawks. Worth the risk, IMHO, especially given that the Hawks have a fair number of picks in the near future.

Kuz and Brzu for a second gives the Canucks the cap space and the ability to trade the '24 first for Lindholm and still have a reasonable pick in that draft.
I'd do Kuz and Brzu straight up for Lindholm but I'm not sure that Calgary would. The Flames need cap space too.
The Hawks get to reach the floor next season and get a good player with not much term plus a really good prospect.
The Flames get 4 really good prospects and a first for Lindholm. The 4th is for Lyle, sorta.
I'm not real sure about CBJ deal, but just thought I'd see if I could clear some cap space for next season. Perhaps to re-sign Lindholm?
The Canucks get Lindholm and are able to keep a decent pick in the 2024 draft.
Lindholm will be expensive but I think he is worth it.
There aren't many players out there that fill as many of the Canucks needs as Lindholm.
I'd do the trade before the Canucks get too far into this next MUCH harder part of the season.
While the Canucks have a cushion they shouldn't be planning to rest on it.

I think the Hawks accept but I can’t see Vancouver making that offer.

You trade Kuzmenko for like a 7th well before you move Bruztewich for a second. If you move him you gotta acquire a difference maker from it
