I doubt that. The difference is 4MM and Huberdeau would have better talent to play with on MTL. I could see him rebounding

Buffalo would be ideal for him because they have a big, talented center in Tage Thompson, which is what he needs to get space if the offensive zone.

Of course neither will happen unless he does step up and the cap increases

I feel like Huberdeau will play out like Benn and Seguin in Dallas. Everyone was calling them the worst contracts in the league until Dallas killed it in two drafts and had a killer roster to support them.

I don't understand why teams aren't poaching Dallas's scouting department. No way that was luck
