Canes pass. Raanta's been really good recently, and Freddie's on his way back, but still not imminent, can't be moving healthy goalies right now

the market for henrique is too high to not include a first tbh.

we had 2 last year, and both of them are looking like great picks. this is the year to move it.

Yeah, that will be outbid for Henriqye rather easily. Olausson doesn't have the value he once did.

There’s 15 other teams who easily outbid you on Henrique

Why would the Ducks do this when there are teams around the league willing to give up a 1st for Henrique?

I think CHI probably accepts. I think it'd be cool to see Entwistle on a better team, too. I think he has some skills that could come in handy as a role player on a playoff team. I would miss him though.

I personally think neither Monahan or Henrique net a 1st, unless Henrique is at max retention and even then I’m not convinced.

there are a few teams that need a center, and the difference between monahan & henrique is henrique provides more value than Monahan, who is producing mostly on the PP.

And ultimately, the Avs don't have much to offer other than the first.

Hawks decline. Av's should feel fortunate if they can dump Ryjo this season for that 3rd. Av's don't get a capable 4th liner as well.

Avs decline the first two, accept the second two. ANA probably declines.

I think the echo chamber of CF is getting to you where a guy is either a super star or worth nothing especially prospects. Olausson whom most Avs fans think is a bust actually does have value as prospect because he has actual NHL caliber skills that are blocked by the Avs current roster. We as fans might discount that, but people that do it for a living don’t. Likewise guys like Meyers and Malinski have real value they are NHL players on minimum contracts looking for expanded roles. Behrens has even more value than those guys so let’s not fall into the Avs don’t have anything trap, and also teams are becoming more and more reluctant to part with 1st rd picks for pure rental guys because teams are smart when was the last time a rental guy that a team gave up a 1st for made a difference in a team winning the cup. I really don’t want to see the Avs go down the rental hole, hell I’d rather do a Roslivic trade for less than either Henrique or Monahan for a 1st. But that’s me.

Ope... I guess I glossed over the pick. I thought it was a 2nd.
