If the Devils can trade Toffoli for a middle of the pack 1st rounder this year, move up Holtz and let the kids run out the season, I'm fine with it. This isn't a cup team with this goaltending, so might as well make the season worth while to grow the kids.

If we traded Toffoli and Bastian or someone else moved to the top 6 instead of Holtz....then there is no excuse not to fire Lindy. #FreeHoltz

The Islanders are not that great of a team. Islanders are one of the oldest teams in the league, 10 players have NMC's, and possess one of the weakest prospect pools in the league. Old man Lou is going to run this franchise into the ground. Insane to me that people on here want the Islanders to add again this deadline. Zero future, while also not really being a cup contender. Saying that though, I love love love Dobson.
