So Zadorov - who was acquired this season for a 2024 5th and a 2026 3rd - gets packaged with an injured replacement-level fourth liner and a 4th, and that somehow is equivalent to a 2024 1st.

Flames definitely sold from a place of weakness early in the season. He is easily worth a 2nd and 4th, once teams get desperate he is the type of player people overpay for at the deadline. Plus that 1st rd pick is somewhere below 28 by years end.. basically a second!

If he’s the type of player that teams are eager to add for the playoffs, why would the Canucks trade him?

This is what I've been wondering especially when he brings nastiness to his game none of our other D have. Zadorov is who we are going to need if match up against a bigger team.

cap space for other deals, and they probably cant afford to resign him thanks to OEL buyout and Hronek next deal

Sabres aren’t trading Greenway
And even if we were, we aren’t interested in draft picks

@CANUCKSDOWNUNDER
Jordan is not available because Granato would have cow if his Jordan was traded.
If you want a big body Erik Robinson may be available.
He has more hits and pts per 60 than Greenway and would cost significantly less than a 2nd.
