Don't really know much about Johansson, But I don't think this would be the deal they take for Buch.

Blues would want a more quality player and preferrably defenseman. Someone like ASP which I doubt Red Wing fans are to keen to give.

Red Savage is a cool enough name that has to add some trade value.

Not enough for Hanifin.

Too much and not enough for Buch at the same time.

Oilers easily say yes if we can make the $$ work.

Fan favorite + legit Skinner backup

Blues need a good defensive prospect. The package does not contain a good defensive prospect

You wouldn't get ASP for Buch even by himself lol. Top prospects just have hyperinflated values.

Yessir, Conroys raised the value incredibly. He’s cheffing up something good now.

I don’t mind this from the Blues perspective. We’re going to need to add a forward short term for next season and it shouldn’t be a long term add. Breggren can at least hope to provide some secondary offense for us. Torn between Johnsson and Wallinder. I think both are fairly similar upside. Both help our defensive prospect pool out. Only qualm would be switching the 1st to this draft to expedite the process a bit quicker.

I think there’s a deal to be made between the two. It’s just hard to figure out what direction the Blues will go with Buchnevich. He’s such an integral part of our group

Detroit would have to retain 50% on Kostin to get anything more than FC. And what would Edmonton do with Riemer? Pickard is better and they have 2 AHL goalie already.

I agree with Kostin but I believe that Riemer is better than Pickard. Don't get it wrong, I have been advocating to keep Pickard and ride with him this season however.
