goodrow is not a cap dump.
his buyout will cost the Rangers nothing.
this isn't a situation in which the Rangers will have to pay heavy to move him.

Idk for Colorado. The value is fine, but the Allen contract is one too many years. Depends on how they fill the hole left by moving RyJo.

As a Habs fan, wouldn't get close to Barclay Goodrow.
Even with a 1st.
Habs already have Gallagher and Anderson as terrible contracts.

The Allen trade is interesting, but I think the Avs decline.

Agreed. Can’t fit the Allen contract on the books next year unless they retain 50% or you sacrifice elsewhere on your roster. Even then, it wouldn’t be easy.

Problem for the Avs is they’d essentially be taking on the same amount of cap and losing center depth without adding any. They are already too weak at C to do this.

If they move Ryjo which I do believe they will, it will be in a deal to upgrade at C or to move out cap to bring in a C from elsewhere.

there will be a market for him during the offseason. You can always flip him.
