Love this guy. Criminally underrated and Trotz is a terrorist for playing him in the AHL.
NSH
  1. Toffoli, Tyler
Additional Details:
Rental trade TDL 23-24. Maybe Predators extend him idk.

  2. Marino, John
  3. 2024 3rd round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
I've been dealing Marino to the Sabres in my AGMs for about 1 year by now. Feel like this would make a ton of sense for them given that they have an excess of talented forwards. Would the Sabres go for this?

I like Marino but moving mittestadt for him is 1 step forward 2 steps back kinda thing.

Theyre at a point where they need to add talent without subtracting whats already there. Or rip someone off using an overrated player.

I could see the Sabres interested in Marino
Idk that we’d trade Mitts for him though….?

Doubt Preds trade Parssinen. Despite my early reactions to Parssinen being sent down, I think it’s doing him well. He just looked like he was lacking confidence at the NHL-level, so I assume it’s refreshing for him to do as he pleases at the AHL-level. I think some time down could do him good

The fact he’s the first guy you think of to get rid of means nobody wants to give you something of value for him.

You obviously haven’t been paying attention to the player. The Canucks don’t want to give him up but a hockey trade for a RHD would be interesting. I suggested it because that’s the premise of the OP’s trade.

Kuzmenko was the first obvious candidate to move money out and Mikheyev would be the next.

Garland is a cap dump/filler to NJD. You’d have to add multiple 1sts of value to bridge the gap between him and marino

Marino isn't worth multiple 1sts on his own

Very well built. Strong on the puck. Above average shot. Middling in the defensive zone. High skill. Could be a 2nd line forward for sure
