Put Lysell in as the 2nd line RW moving DeBrusk to the left side.

you're getting a little bit obsessive over getting lysell in the lineup. the bruins management knows what they're doing. relax.

Nah. I just think it is something they should be considering before the trade deadline. My guess is they stick with the current lines as long as they are playing the way they did before the all star break.

JVR - Zacha - DeBrusk are playing well enough to continue down that route.

I am hoping Poitras gets more consistent playing time

Haha if we all abided by "management knows what they're doing" this website wouldn't even exist. Live a little

No I totally get that. But there's a difference between idea sharing and over posting the same idea.

I posted an alternative where they potentially moved Poitras down to juniors to avoid arbitration eligibility. Not sure if that is obsessive in nature as opposed to discussing different options.

I’ve defended Lysell based on his play in Providence. Was also critical of him before his recent steps. Never felt he used his teammates or play within a team structure. Encouraged by the development and I do think he’s a viable option that likely gets an opportunity if there are any injuries

I’ve also posted different iterations of Frederic in the top 6. Just trying to discuss alternatives with their current roster rather than the 15th iteration of the Hanifin and Middleton requests

Any thoughts on ways to improve the roster without trades or do you just stand with the current roster?

Lysell deserves a look in the NHL - he's finally putting everything together and playing to his potential. His AHL play the last 2 months shows he is too good to be playing at that level.

Poitras deserves more playing time - he is middle of the pack in terms of production for 18/19 year olds in the NHL despite the least amount of TOI

Bruins have a pretty substantial hold on a playoff spot. Give the young guys some significant minutes to see how they handle the moment and mature. No reason to keep giving known commodities like Brown/Steen 4th line minutes.

This will pay dividends next year when Poitras, Lysell, Lohrei, and possibly Merk are all full-time NHLers

You get one post with a trade for 4th line toughness or 3rd pairing toughness AND THATS IT! After that you’re done for the year, no exceptions 😂

Frankly, most trades I see on Cap Friendly are one sided. Occasionally, they aren’t and then you have a segment of fans calling them rip offs.

A good trade should have both fans questioning to a degree. Rarely do you see a deal as 100 percent favorable one way or another at the time of the deal. Things can change that (player growth, injury, player leaving, player signing value or lack of value contract), but most trades have a rationale behind them

Don't think Lysell can handle top6 minutes just yet. If there are injuries, I wouldn't mind giving him a look in the bottom6.

I expect BOS to be shopping for a vet middle6 winger at the deadline to fill out the depth.
